The Frankfurt GMT remains exactly what it has always been: a uncompromising GMT tool watch with a clear functional focus and distinctive pilot watch character. What is new is the size. With a compact 40 mm diameter, Laco expands the series with a version that is equally versatile to wear.

GMT FUNCTION
TWO TIME ZONES.
CLEAR AND DIRECT.
The second time zone is displayed using the 24-hour hand and the internal rotating bezel. It is adjusted via the additional crown at 2 o’clock – a distinctive feature of the Frankfurt GMT.
The internal rotating bezel not only gives the watch its characteristic appearance but also preserves the clean lines of the case. At the same time, it allows the second time zone to be set quickly and precisely. Despite the additional functionality, the dial remains uncluttered and exceptionally legible – inspired by classic cockpit instruments.
40 MM
NOW FOR EVERY WRIST.
40 mm does not change the character of the Frankfurt GMT – but it does change the wearing experience. The watch feels balanced on the wrist and integrates naturally into everyday life, whether on the move, at the office, or while traveling.
As an addition to the existing 43 mm Frankfurt GMT, the new version expands the collection with a size particularly suited to slimmer wrists and anyone who prefers a more restrained presence on the wrist without compromising functionality.

PILOT WATCH DESIGN
WITH A TECHNICAL CHARACTER.
The dark sandblasted stainless steel case is inspired by historic Laco pilot watches and recalls classic cockpit instruments. Its matte finish reduces reflections – originally an important functional requirement in aviation.
Clear numerals, strong contrasts, and carefully placed color accents define the reduced and highly functional design of the Frankfurt GMT 40. The Frankfurt GMT in 43 mm was already honored with the Red Dot Award for Product Design in 2020, recognizing its successful combination of classic pilot watch DNA and modern design.

ONE DESIGN.
TWO VARIANTS.
The watch is available with two distinct dial options. The black version draws more heavily on classic pilot watch aesthetics, emphasizing the instrument-inspired character of the design through its strong contrasts. The gray variant picks up the color tone of the lower bezel section, creating a more monochromatic and understated overall appearance.

SUPERLUMINOVA
LEGIBLE WHEN IT MATTERS.
A good pilot watch must be easy to read in any situation. That is why the numerals, indices, and hands of the Frankfurt GMT 40 are coated with Superluminova. Even in darkness or challenging lighting conditions, the display remains clear and easy to read.
The GMT function is integrated harmoniously without cluttering the dial. As a result, even with a second time zone, the watch remains what a Laco pilot watch is meant to be: a thoughtfully engineered and precise instrument on the wrist.
CALIBER
PROVEN GMT TECHNOLOGY.
At its heart beats the Laco 330 caliber based on the Sellita 330-2 – a mechanical automatic movement with GMT function. An additional magnetic field protection system and robust construction further underline its suitability for everyday use and travel.

The stylized airplane-shaped seconds hand, the engraved airplane relief on the case back, and the characteristic orange accents have long been defining features of the series. The new 40 mm version continues these design elements and remains unmistakably a Frankfurt GMT.

The Frankfurt GMT 40 is delivered in a custom-fitted, padded aluminium case. Included are two straps, a strap-changing tool and a matching “Remove Before Flight” key tag. As standard, the watch comes fitted with a high-quality Fibertech strap. Featuring an innovative microfibre-like texture, this modern material combines a refined textile appearance with outstanding durability, water resistance and excellent wearing comfort.
An additional gray and orange NATO-style nylon strap is also included. Robust and water-resistant, it is the ideal companion for everyday wear, travel and adventure.
