Compact size, full function: the Frankfurt 40 GMT Schwarz is the latest evolution of the award-winning Frankfurt GMT. This modern pilot watch with GMT function and automatic movement packs the series' complete technology into a 40 mm case.
To achieve this, Laco condensed the concept without changing it: a 24-hour hand for the second time zone, an internal rotating bezel and a second crown at 2 o'clock. The dial remains clear, yet the watch also sits in balance on slimmer wrists and slips more easily under a shirt cuff.
Technically, nothing is missing: protection against magnetic fields, 20 ATM, two screw-down protected crowns, and a double-domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides. The black dial relies on strong contrasts, while the orange luminous material on the GMT hand makes the second time zone stand out clearly.
Inside runs the Laco 330 caliber, based on the Sellita 330-2. The watch comes as a complete set in an aluminum carrying case, with a Fibertech strap, a spare nylon strap and a tool. The 40 mm version is a typical Laco step: a proven design, thought through further until it fits everyday life even better.
