Compact, precise, visibly refined: the Würzburg 39 is a modern hand-wound pilot watch with small seconds and a dial with an outer minute track – in a 39 mm case that sits confidently even on slim wrists.
The Laco 261 caliber, based on the Sellita SW261, is executed in Elaboré grade and equipped with hacking seconds. Laco refines it with Geneva stripes on the bridges, heat-blued screws and a Laco engraving on the ratchet wheel – details revealed by the large sapphire crystal case back.
The minutes are set large around the edge for exact reading, while the small seconds at 6 o'clock keep the center of the dial clear. Luminous material on the numerals, indices and blued lozenge (Losangé) hands keeps the display legible at night.
With no rotor taking up space, the case is especially slim; the mix of polished and sandblasted surfaces gives it tension. Worn on a brown smooth leather strap, the Würzburg 39 is a technically sophisticated watch for everyday life – for women and men alike.
