Traces on the case, patina on the dial, hands with worn bluing: the Paderborn Erbstück looks as if it has spent decades on a navigator's wrist. In fact it is brand new – a historically faithful pilot watch with a type B dial and an automatic movement, hand-aged at Laco.
Every component – case, dial, hands and strap – is worked individually, without mechanical aids. That is why no two Paderborn Erbstück watches are alike: each one is unique.
The foundation is as authentic as the patina. Barrel-shaped case, straight lugs, pressed-in case back with engraving and a crown just like the historic observation watches – of the five historic manufacturers, Laco is the only one worldwide that still builds these watches in their original construction today. Every Erbstück is made from it.
The automatic movement winds itself as you wear it, and the brown riveted vintage leather strap is aged as well. The aging comes in three levels, from subtle traces to chipped luminous material on the hands; unless you request otherwise, you will receive level 2 as shown.

- Closed loop pilot's brown calf leather strap with rivets
The used vintage leather makes every watch strap unique. Being a product of nature, it can present itself with color and structure variations. - Box:
