The Atacama.3 MB is the squad watch in its most uncompromising form: case and stainless steel bracelet are fully DLC-coated, the watch is water-resistant to 50 ATM and designed for the toughest conditions. The bracelet was created at the repeated request of emergency and security personnel.
The folding clasp with safety catch prevents accidental opening, and quick-release spring bars make changing the strap easy – the bracelet fits all Atacama models. The deep black DLC layer is considerably harder and more scratch-resistant than PVD and stands up to long, demanding use.
The screw-down crown sits protected at 12 o'clock between case and bracelet; an orange tube signals whether it is correctly screwed down. The countdown bezel rotates in one direction and counts backwards, while two-tone hands with Superluminova keep hours and minutes clearly apart, even in the dark.
Despite the Laco 200 automatic movement, based on the Sellita SW 200, the conical case stays under 12 mm slim, and flexible end pieces adapt the watch to your wrist. The Atacama.3 MB shows how consistently Laco keeps developing its functional watches – from the dial down to the last bracelet link.
