The Graz 42 is a historically faithful pilot watch with a type B luminous dial and hand-wound movement. Its dial is fully coated with luminous material – the navigator's watch for anyone who wants to keep track of every minute, even at night.
Against the glowing background, the outer minute track and the inner hour ring stand out as a dark pattern, and the black lacquered hands as a clear silhouette. By day, the light dial gives the watch a look that sets it clearly apart from classic black pilot watches.
The case remains true to the original: barrel-shaped case with straight lugs, pressed-in case back, dark sandblasted finish and domed sapphire crystal. This is how observation watches were built in the 1940s – and this is how Laco, as the only one of the five historic manufacturers worldwide, still builds them today.
The hand-wound movement likes to be wound daily via the large crown. The 42 mm size and the black riveted calfskin strap make for a balanced, striking look. A pilot watch for anyone who loves the original yet wants to wear something distinctive.
