Pilot Watch ORIGINAL Mülheim an der Ruhr Erbstück

Art.Nr. 862096

The Mülheim an der Ruhr Erbstück is a historically faithful, hand-aged pilot watch with a type A dial and a hand-wound movement in a compact 39 mm size. It pairs the aura of a pilot's watch worn for decades with a size that sits comfortably even on slender wrists.

The traces tell a story that everyone is free to imagine for themselves. Laco ages the case, dial, hands and strap individually and without mechanical aids, so every piece carries its own scratches, its own discoloration and its own patina.

Beneath the patina, the watch is built like the observation watches of the 1940s: barrel-shaped case, straight lugs, pressed-in case back with engraving. Among the five historic manufacturers worldwide, only Laco still builds pilot watches this way.

The hand-wound movement needs winding every day, and the brown riveted vintage leather strap is aged just like the watch. Available in three aging levels, from light traces to chipped luminous material on the hands.

Movement:
hand winding movement Laco 210
basic movement Sellita SW 210
Case:
Stainless steel case, elaborately hand-finished in an antique look with lateral engraving FL23883 and engraved stainless steel back. Every case is absolutely unique. Domed and anti-reflective sapphire crystal, solid case back with engraving, Crown execution like original Beobachtungsuhr
Dial:

Hands:
Thermally blued steel hands with Superluminova coating, elaborate hand-finishing ages each watch individually (partially cracked on request)

Laco Fliegeruhr

From passion to legend: The Pilot watch from Laco.

There are pilot watches. And then there is the pilot watch from Laco. As one of a few exclusive companies the workshop in Pforzheim can look back on a long tradition. Whereas in the 1940s a Laco was an indispensable tool in the cockpit, today it is an expression of freedom. With a Laco aviator watch you are not only wearing a precise and robust watch on your wrist, but also a piece of history.
