The Laco butterfly clasp made of brushed stainless steel combines a clean, understated design with practical everyday benefits. Its satin finish and discreetly engraved Laco lettering are deliberately aligned with Laco’s standard buckle design.
Two lateral push buttons allow the clasp to be opened easily and in a controlled manner with a single movement. When putting the watch on or taking it off, the strap remains secured at all times, reducing the risk of the watch accidentally slipping off the wrist. At the same time, the folding clasp is gentler on the leather, as it avoids the constant bending and stress typical of a traditional pin buckle.
Thanks to its particularly slim construction, the clasp sits flat on the wrist and offers a level of wearing comfort comparable to that of conventional pin buckles.
The folding clasp can also be retrofitted to most Laco leather straps. A small integrated pin is fixed into one of the strap holes, allowing the strap length and fit to be adjusted easily.
Note: When retrofitting the clasp, please ensure that you select the correct clasp width. This does not correspond to the strap’s lug width, but is generally a few millimetres narrower.
