This black, elegant watchstrap is crafted from high-quality Shell Cordovan leather. This fine horse leather is particularly resistant and robust, making it extremely durable but also increasingly supple over the years. Thanks to the relatively high amount of fat contained in the leather it is virtually indestructible and highly water resistant. For this reason, it is used mainly for the production of high-quality men's footwear and leather accessories. The other particular feature of Cordovan leather is its subtle sheen. This is achieved at the end of the production process with the "smearing" technique: a specially formulated oil is warmed and rubbed into the leather by hand. Almost all leather production processes are carried out by hand. It takes almost 6 months until the leather is ready, and production now takes place in only a handful of tanneries. The "tone-in-tone" stitching on the watchstrap accentuates its classic appearance and is particularly suitable for flat models, such as our Classic line. The ideal watchstrap for all those who like their wrist watch to be elegant but never ordinary.
