Light by day, glowing by night: the Wien 42 is a historically faithful original pilot watch with a type B dial, a luminous dial and an automatic movement. It is made for everyone who loves the navigators' dial and wants a watch that stands apart from the classic black.
The entire dial is coated with luminous material. The minute track and hour ring appear as dark markings, the black-lacquered hands as a sharp silhouette – a display that catches the eye directly at night.
Add to that a construction you will hardly find anywhere today: barrel-shaped case, straight lugs, pressed-in case back with engraving, dark sandblasted finish and the FL23883 marking on the case flank. Among the five historic manufacturers of the 1940s, Laco is the only one worldwide that still builds its pilot watches this way.
The automatic movement winds itself as you wear it. 42 mm, a domed sapphire crystal and the black riveted calfskin strap add up to a striking yet balanced presence. A pilot watch for everyone who values the original and prefers a light dial.
