This dark brown watch strap made from high-quality leather is a safety strap for pilot watches, which authentically underlines the character of any pilot watch / observer watch. A relatively large number of the observer watches produced in the 1940's have survived to this day, although often without the watch strap or with a long version of the strap that cannot be worn on the wrist. We therefore offer a short version of the strap that makes it possible to wear the original observer watches. This strap is naturally also suited to our Replica 55 model. At their time, the 55 mm watches were not worn on the wrist but over their aviator gear, either on their arm or thigh (and referred to as "knee watches", which explains why the strap is normally considerably longer than that of an ordinary watch strap. Please note that this watch strap can only be used for watches with a fixed lug and a lug width of 26 mm. For this reason, every watch strap is supplied with five single rivets that are needed to attach the strap firmly to the watch. Length: short side approx. 100 mm, long side approx. 155 mm
