The Speyer Erbstück is a historically faithful, hand-aged pilot watch with a type B dial, an automatic movement and a 39 mm diameter. It brings the aura of a long-worn navigator's watch to a size that sits in balance on slimmer wrists.
At Laco, the marks of time are created by hand. Scuffs, discoloration and a patina on the dial and hands are the result of individual work on every single component, the strap included. The outcome is a watch that exists exactly like this only once.
Beneath the patina, the construction stays historical: barrel-shaped case, straight lugs and a pressed-in case back, just like the observation watches of the 1940s. Laco is the only one of the five historic manufacturers worldwide that still makes its pilot watches in this construction.
The automatic movement keeps the watch running while you wear it. Despite the aging, the minute track at the edge and the inner hour ring remain easy to read. Available in three aging levels; if you don't specify one, you will receive level 2.
