Two time zones, one clear display and a design that won the Red Dot Award: Product Design in 2020: the Frankfurt 43 GMT Schwarz is a modern pilot watch with GMT function for anyone who commutes between continents.
Laco developed its own solution for the second time zone. A 24-hour hand with orange luminous material shows the second time, while an internal rotating bezel is set via the second crown at 2 o'clock. This keeps the case lines clean, and the dial stays uncluttered despite the extra function.
The case is protected against magnetic fields, water-resistant to 20 ATM and fitted with two protected screw-down crowns. The double-domed sapphire crystal is anti-reflective on both sides. Inside runs the Laco 330 automatic caliber, based on the Sellita 330-2.
The black dial shows off the orange accents most strikingly; the aircraft-shaped seconds hand and the relief on the screw-down case back are the series' signature details. The watch comes in an aluminum carrying case with a Fibertech strap, a spare nylon strap, a tool and a “Remove before flight” tag.
