Steel meets a compact format: the Aachen 39 MB combines the type B dial with a 39 mm case and a solid stainless steel bracelet. The result is a small pilot watch with an automatic movement that blends discreetly into everyday life, yet is recognizable as a Laco at first glance.
The dial arranges time like the historical observation watches: minutes on the outside, hours on the inside. This layout was designed for navigators who calculated by the minute – today, above all, it gives the watch an unmistakable face.
What makes the watch modern is everything surrounding the dial. The Pilot Watches BASIC collection does without the sandblasted case and onion crown of the ORIGINAL series, relying instead on satin-finished steel, a flat sapphire crystal and curved lugs. The bracelet with curved end links continues this line and sits flush against the case.
A steel pilot watch for slimmer wrists that takes rain, travel and the office in its stride. On request, it is powered by the Laco 31 caliber with a 60-hour power reserve.
