Type A dial, stainless steel from bezel to clasp: the Augsburg 42 MB is the most matter-of-fact way to wear a Laco pilot watch. As a modern pilot watch with a metal bracelet and automatic movement, it pairs the famous dial of the pilot watches with the ruggedness of a steel bracelet.
The triangle with two dots at 12 o’clock gives you instant orientation, and the large hour numerals make reading the time a matter of a moment. At 42 mm, the dial has enough surface to stay legible even out of the corner of your eye. At night, the luminous material on the numerals and hands takes over.
Case and bracelet with curved end links form a single, unified whole. This is exactly where the difference from the ORIGINAL series lies: there, historical proportions, straight lugs and a matte sandblasted finish define the look; in the BASIC collection, it is satin-finished steel and a flowing, contemporary silhouette. Behind the sapphire crystal case back, the automatic movement is at work – or, on request, the Laco 31 caliber.
A watch that makes tradition visible, yet never pushes itself to the fore in everyday life.
