The Zürich.2 is the type B dial in a compact quartz format: a flat pilot watch with a Swiss quartz movement that keeps precise time without winding. On the matte black dial, the minutes run large around the edge, with the hours in the inner ring.
This layout comes from the observation watches that navigators once used to determine their aircraft's position. Today it is the watch's hallmark – and thanks to luminous material on the numerals and hands, it is as easy to read at night as by day.
At just 9 mm high and light in weight, the Zürich.2 is barely noticeable on your wrist. That clearly sets it apart from the models of the ORIGINAL series, which make a deliberate statement with historical proportions and a highly domed crystal. The BASIC collection goes for the opposite: slim, light, made for everyday wear. Sapphire crystal protects the dial, and water resistance to 5 ATM is enough for rain and splashes.
The riveted brown leather strap makes the Zürich.2 an uncomplicated pilot watch for anyone who values clear-cut technology in everyday life.
